Bunch of lavender

Keith bought me this beautiful bunch of lavender this morning while he was buying fruit and vege.  I walked to they gym for the first time in a few months.  Despite the chill in the air, the sun shone bravely and I could feel its warmth.  Later, I sat in the garden with my cup of tea and could smell our daphne bush that is smothered in flowers.  It is a gorgeous Sydney winter day.

This afternoon I might attempt to work on the quilt I am making for Margaret.  The colours are muted pinks and greens with a star centre.  My first attempt at the star was a complete disaster as I was working with the wrong dimensions.

Susannah has been gone now for two nights and we already miss her.  They haven't posted anything on their blog.
